The 3200 4-Flute General Purpose end mill is designed for titanium, super alloys, hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and low-silicon aluminum. Its 4-flute geometry provides the rigidity and finish quality needed for harder materials. For softer, non-ferrous materials where chip clearance is the priority, consider the 3215 2-Flute General Purpose end mill. Its 2-flute design provides more room for chip evacuation but is not designed for cast iron or hardened steels and is not available with an FC-20 coating.
